  • Reid Peterson Creator of Grief Refuge

    Reid Peterson

    FOUNDER/CREATOR

    Grief Refuge content is created by Reid Peterson, MA. Reid achieved a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Psychology (Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, 2007) and is certified in Death & Grief Studies by the Center for Loss & Life Transition. After losing his biological father to suicide in 2006 and his stepfather to cancer in 2016, Reid felt a calling to help the grieving find peace and purpose after loss.

  • Molly Stevens

    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

    Molly is Grief Refuge’s business development and outreach manager.

    Molly lost her father in 2016 after he battled cancer for 8 years. She misses him and honors his memory through her work at Grief Refuge.

  • Patty Reis

    GROUP FACILITATOR | EDUCATOR

    Patty is a gifted connector and caring soul who has sunk to the depths of despair and climbed her way back out. A mother of four, her two oldest children were murdered on New Year’s Day 2012. She has since found a way to reach thousands of grieving hearts with compassion and support.

  • Garrick Colwell

    GROUP FACILITATOR | EDUCATOR

    Garrick has served in hospice, end-of-life planning and grief education for several decades.

    A gifted teacher and facilitator, he has trained with the Center for Loss & Life Transformation and is a certified Grief Educator through David Kessler trainings.

    With a deep understanding of the grief process, Garrick facilitates with wisdom and compassion for everyone’s journey.
